14th Week in Country

Good to be 100% again after a week of chest cold. Long hours finally caught up and had to slow down a bit. Back up and running now so here's where we're at. My boss left last week and new guys are getting up to speed. I take some to my jobs to show them what's goin on and where they are the base. Soon they'll all have 2 or 3 projects of their own to manage and they'll be ready. 2 of them are here for 6 months and 2 will be here for a year soooooo, I'm not the last man to leave here anymore! These guys will be here 2 or 3 months after I leave next summer but in the next few weeks - by Thanksgiving - we're losing 2 more Con Reps soooooooooo, we'll be lookin for 2-4 more new ones coming after Christmas. Anyway, the projects are coming along fine - see pics. One of the "owners" (the U.S. Army) rep is guy named Major Ephraim... (see pic)He's from Raleigh/Greensboro area and is on his way home so hopefully some of you will be seeing him. Eph said he'll try to contact Colette when he's in Greenville and say hay...
And now for "the rest of the story"... Things have been quieting down some since the vote last week. As time goes on and democracy takes hold, these nutzoids are goin to find it more and more difficult to find another "safe haven" to ply their murderous trade. Our soldiers are really special people. The day after the Vote there was no screamin and shoutin...just another day to take care of business...just like the pros that they are. Yall would be very proud of them. They're awesome to behold doin the things I cannot relate here but believe me, they're awesome. I hope all is well back there in South Florida as I know Wilma takes her licks at us tonight and tomorrow. Here again, another opportunity to show the world what Americans can do in the face of a pending disaster during a war. You all are in my prayers...

Comments:
Buffy....haven't checked in for a little while. Been traveling myself...London, Orlando, LA....You guys are realling making progress. Sounds like the morale of the troops/team is great. Did you get your generators? Hope the contact at CAT was helpful. Take care my man...talk to you soon!

Uncle Phillip...Thanks for the update. Glad you're back home safe. All OK here and troops are fine. Even our civilians are less "cranky" since the weather got to be 75-80 by day and 55 at night...LOL Guys around the coffee pot have nothing else to do but gossip ...sound familiar? LOL Used to be only gals chit chatted the day away!!! Oh woe is me...PC gals need not call me down please...just teasin LOL Gotta run BRO. Love to fam and keep up the Faith...every thing gonna be fine...

Hey Buff..

Haven't checked in with you for awhile, but I have been keeping up with you on your blog. You have such a great outlook on what's going on over there. Wish the media were more intuned to all the positive things that you are seeing. It's frustrating to only read about the negative aspects of Iraq, especially when good people like you are over there, trying so hard to get it right!! Thanks for all you do...we continue to keep you in our prayers and look forward to having you around full time again. My Becca, who is now 14 and a freshman in high school is ready to hear the "train" talk. No one can tell it quite like you do.
Breanna had a great time at William's birthday party. The haunted house was a big, scary hit!!
Quinn sends his best and is also waiting for your return. He is anxious for a re-match with Catch Phrase...thinks the men can finally outwit the women!?!? We'll see about that!!
Anyway, take care and know that we all love you!! God Bless you loads!!

Carolyn...Thanks for the prayers and thoughtfulness. Not to worry about the press TV etc. All the folks that run them have another agenda besides makin the world a safer place for our kids. Sex, hurricanes, bombs, attrocities, etc etc are subjects that get people's attention. With lots of readers/viewers they're able to get and hold advertisers which is their bottomline not to mention the opportunity to promote their own political agenda etc.... Just keep the Faith that all is well here albeit dangerous, but in His hands non the less. Besidae, it's been written long ago, that if we follow Him it' ain't gonna be easy but in the end, it's eternal life ...or death that's at stake. We choose life so not to worry, just keep Faith.
As far as Becca is concerned, tell her I'll be home the month of February God willing and we'll connect somehow for an important discussion that she'll find helpful as she becomes a young, beautiful woman. Dr Buffoz will be available whenever she has the time,...LOL Love to Quinn and kids and all the Catch Phrase crowd. God bless

Christina...Thanks for the prayers ..I really needed them. I felt like I was dilating myself this past week! Finally, I got the call this AM about 8 which was a bit after midnight there and my girls were ecstatic...another DeLeo girl! I guess the good Lord wants me to keep tellin the train station story...LOL Check my next Blog...Love to Steve and family

Unc and Celeste...Thanks for the prayers. I can't tell you how happy I am for Colette and Elise and Bob. It's perfect just awesome I'm speechless and tear up just thinkin how blessed me and my family is...love to the kids and Unc

Cheech...Glad u made it somewhere on the blog...now if you could only get up to the CURRENT ONE which is at the left side in Index at the bottom where it might say "Current Posts"...If not then clear your Temp folder of latest sites visited and come back to the blog site for the latest. You're still 3 blogs behind...Love though
