Just a quick status report...I'll be leaving Friday or Saturday and thought I'd post my last pics of 2 projects which should finish up while I'm away...The JMMT and the Medical Warehouse are side by side and the pics show the latest status of them as I leave. Upon returning I'll finish the Waste Water Treatment Plant and then who knows where the COE will send me for the remainder of my tour. Hope to see yall next week...

26th Week in Country ...Christmas for Iraqi Kids

Thought you'd like to see some pics my nephew Garrick took in downtown Baghdad while on a mission. During his run through a neighborhood he stopped and surprised some local kids by having his soldiers play Santa's helpers compliments of St Peter's 4th Grade class. It was great seeing the kids open the gifts and Garrick says the pleasure was all his and his soldiers. Thank you Garrick and thanks again to all the parents and teachers of St Peter's 4th graders...yall did good.

25th Week in Country and JMMT Nearing Completion

Finally made it to the New Year and am busier than ever. New folks have been arriving and after my 3 projects are completed I may be able to have more time to write. My friend Harly has arrived from Kirkush and is transitioning back home to San Diego tomorrow. He has done a super job teaching and training Iraqi engineers to manage construction projects and will leave Iraq knowing he has done all he could to help some folks "do it themselves". Well done Harly and I pray you have a safe trip home. Downdabayu, day say, "Ya did good, yeh Cher". Thank you for your service BRO, ya made us all very proud.
I thought I'd share a pic or 2 of the latest from the Postal Facility soon to be known as the Joint Military Mail Terminal or JMMT. I'm trying my best to to be in the testing stage by the end of the month when I plan to rotate back home for R&R. Hope to see yall then ...
